Lovely historic inn with friendly staff, great food and beautiful location. Perfectly located for exploring Redwood parks and local beaches. Dinner served communally with delicious food and good wine list. Wonderful alternative to tacky motels. River view rooms are highly recommended.
Some dated furnishings in certain rooms that could use an update. Front corner rooms can be noisy due to traffic from nearby road.

The hotel had a great location, we were able to hike in the redwoods and visit the nearby ocean. the views were amazing from our room and the staff was friendly. We also enjoyed the locally sourced food at the family-style dinner.
The lack of Wi-Fi and TV in our room made it difficult to stay connected with the outside world. Easter brunch was not included in the price and had to be paid for separately.
